The Help Page
If you need any help with Tadayoshi swords, then send an e-mail to me, with
the subject as:-
"Tadayoshi:help"
I will do my
best to tell you which Tadayoshi smith you have (without prejudice). This in no
way replaces official shinsa services, but it may save you wasting some money
and time.
I will need an e-mail scan (JPG,GIF,TIF)/photo/good oshigata of at
least 500 DPI quality
which shows individual chisel strokes and filemarks.
Some of the gimei are as good as the mainline master's work, and these will
probably require shinsa. However, the majority of gimei can be readily
distinguished.
To distinguish between the smiths yourself go to the "Art Gallery" or to the "History" section where there is a small selection of signatures.
